The inmate who died in the Manitowoc County jail yesterday was 36-year-old Justin Hall of Manitowoc.
Sheboygan County Sheriff’s deputies are helping with the investigation.
They say a correctional officer found Hall on a mattress in an awkward position while making routine checks yesterday morning.
Hall was scheduled to be in court yesterday afternoon. He was in custody on burglary, theft, and bail jumping charges.
