The head of ThedaCare says as coronavirus cases rise in Wisconsin, the number of people in hospitals is climbing in the Fox Cities area.
Dr. Imran Andrabi says over most of the summer, they would have 10 to 13 patients. He says that’s jumped to 57 over the past two weeks.
He believes it’s time for the community to regroup. He says people need to rethink what they’re doing, so they can prevent a major surge of COVID-19 cases.
Andrabi is also concerned about the fall, because people will be spending more time inside. He says that could increase the spread.
