There are 1,762 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin, and that’s the most in four days.
The state is reporting 13.1 percent of tests came back positive. That’s below the seven-day average of 16.9 percent.
There are 15,262 active cases, and that total has jumped by 73 percent over the past 14 days. The state has had 105,992 confirmed cases overall.
Hospitals are treating 56 new COVID-19 patients, and now have a record 474 overall. Another 190 are waiting for test results.
Eight more people died, bringing the overall number of confirmed deaths to 1,259.
Brown County has 329 new cases, Outagamie 95, Winnebago 44, Fond du Lac 41, and Shawano 37.
Oconto added 26, Calumet 21, Kewaunee 14, and Manitowoc 13. Waupaca has eight more, Waushara five, and Green Lake three.
