We’ve seen plenty of people streaking / protesting / etc. during sporting events before but this is the first (to my recollection) incident of a different mammal doing it.
During a soccer match in Scotland, between Iilkley Town AFC and Carlton Athletic, an alpaca came off the bench and inserted him/her/itself into the game.
The soccer-curious alpaca just trots through the players, makes his way to the sideline and then is on his merry way.
No harm no foul.
I am surprised that none of the soccer players flopped and tried to draw a penalty card on the alpaca.
P.S. The alpaca’s name is “Oscar” – You’re Welcome.
