Spanish Vineyard Accidentally Re-Creates the Elevator Scene from ‘The Shining’ [VIDEO]

The old saying, ‘Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk” (or ‘spilt milk‘ if you roll that way) is understandable if you have some unnatural attachment  to moo juice.  But when that same situation comes to wine, is the saying then, Don’t Whine Over Spilled Wine?  We’re not sure but after seeing the below video, wine connoisseurs might be inclined to shed a tear.

Like the classic ‘elevator scene’ from ‘The Shining’, we see a 50,000 liter red wine tank at Bodegas Vivitinos Vineyard in Villamalea, Spain release its contents. Unfortunately it wasn’t into bottles or cans, it was just all over the countryside for all to enjoy.  A faulty valve is to blame for the Bodegas Vivitinos Red Wine Massacre of 2020.

But here’s the silver lining… at least the winery can now re-brand the salvageable wine as ‘free range’ – someone’s bound to buy it. Right?
