Police in Green Bay are dealing with a rash of shootings around the city.
There were eight of them over the first five days of the month.
Commander Paul Ebel says people are shooting at cars, people, and apartments in the middle of the day. He says that puts the entire community in danger.
So far, only one person has been wounded, and it wasn’t serious.
Ebel says it appears some of the shootings are in retaliation for earlier ones. He thinks many are happening because of disagreements, or over small amounts of drug money.
Ebel calls it frustrating, because they’re not getting much cooperation from possible suspects or the victims.
