A pandemic won’t stop Alice Cooper from having his Halloween fun. The classic rocker has teamed with Airbnb to offer an online ghost storytelling experience for fans. Spooky Story Time with Alice Cooper will happen via a Zoom session and allow fans to take part by dressing up in costume and joining Cooper on the hour-long session. And while there will be scary stories told, they won’t be too scary… the online event is “suitable for children ages 6+ with an appetite for fright”. As Cooper says in the event description, “With Halloween all but canceled, we’ll have to take our penchant for terror to the scariest place I know – the internet.”
For $100, fans will be able to be a part of the actual online event with a recording of the session available for free afterwards on YouTube and at Airbnb.com. Bookings for the initial recording start Wednesday, October 14th at 11am Central time with the event happening the following Wednesday at 6pm CDT. A very limited amount of spots are available.
Airbnb – which offers non-commercial lodging for travelers worldwide – offers a number of similar pandemic-friendly “Online Experiences” through their website, including virtual tours and online demonstrations from around the world.
