Many communities are looking for poll workers with Election Day approaching.
Wisconsin Elections Commission Administrator Meagan Wolfe says they’re asking local clerks what they need, and they’re urging them to have backups, in case someone won’t be able to show up on November 3rd.
Wolfe hopes to post a list of places that are short of poll workers on the commission’s website sometime next week. She thinks small, rural communities are having the most difficult time.
Poll workers can help in nearby cities and towns, even if they don’t live there.
