The state topped 3,000 new confirmed coronavirus cases in a single day for the first time.
There are 3,132 more cases, and that’s almost 250 more than the previous record set last Saturday.
The state is reporting 18.8 percent of tests came back positive. There are 26,774 active cases, and that’s 1,274 more.
Hospitals are treating 110 new COVID-19 patients, and 873 overall. Another 259 are waiting for test results.
Nine more people died, bringing the overall number of confirmed deaths to 1,424.
Brown County has 319 more cases, Winnebago 232, Outagamie 187, Oconto 95, and Fond du Lac 94.
Waupaca added 65, Calumet 64, Shawano 57, and Manitowoc 51. Waushara has 25 new cases, Kewaunee 20, and Green Lake 14.
