The Brown County Executive wants to invest $21,000 to shorten the response time for alarm calls.
A new interface system would eliminate phone calls between the alarm monitoring system and the 911 dispatch center along with any possible miscommunication. County Executive Troy Streckenbach wants to add the money to the 2021 budget.
The Brown County Board of Supervisors will hold its budget meeting next Wednesday.
