The number of new coronavirus cases in Wisconsin remains above seven-thousand. The state Department of Health Services reports 7,048 positive tests on Wednesday–just shy of the single-day record set on Tuesday. Forty percent of tests were positive.
There were another 62-deaths reported yesterday. Four of those deaths were in Waupaca County. Outagamie County reported three deaths. Brown and Fond du Lac Counties each had two. Winnebago County saw one death.
In the Fox Valley, hospitals have 14-percent of their beds open–with seven percent of intensive care units available.
Brown County had 266 new cases. Outagamie County reported 142. Winnebago County added 149 cases–while Calumet County had 41.
