The Wisconsin Veterans Village in Grand Chute is getting a boost through a matching gift campaign.
Philanthropist Mary Beth Nienhaus made an initial gift of $250,000. Founding member Dr. Tom Wiltzius hopes to raise $83,000 more by December 31st.
He noted they’ve remodeled 33 apartments in the complex just east of Fox Valley Technical College. Wiltzius says the money will be used to remodel 15 more apartments.
According to Wiltzius, phase two will include building 38 new apartments and 10 apartments for end of life care.
