Local TV news reporter Amber Roberts from Alexander County, NC was live on air covering the flooding in the area when SUDDENLY a part of the bridge she was just standing on seconds before COLLAPSES into the raging torrent below.
Luckily she stepped back just in time to avoid certain death/injury/moisture and, like a pro, continued her live shot.
Lucky she’s alive and lucky she avoided violating one of the cardinal rules of reporting… cover the story, don’t become the story.
