Another day, another record for new coronavirus cases in Wisconsin. The state Department of Health Services reports 7,777 positive tests today–snapping yesterday’s record high. That also pushes Wisconsin over 300-thousand total cases. Forty-two percent of tests came back positive.
There were 59 more deaths today–bringing the statewide total to 2,573. Outagamie County had five of those deaths. Fond du Lac and Manitowoc Counties reported two each. Brown, Shawano, and Winnebago Counties all had one death.
Brown County reported 296 new cases. Outagamie County had 221. Winnebago County was up by 210–while Calumet County had 73 new cases.
