A De Pere man dies after driving his truck into a Marinette County lake. The Sheriff’s Office says 67-year old Floyd Kriescher drove off a private bridge into High Falls Flowage in the town of Stephenson around 8:00 Monday night. Rescuers were able to pull Kriescher from the vehicle–but resuscitation efforts were not successful. An investigation shows Kriescher had been trying to drive off the ice onto shore several times before getting onto the bridge.
