More than one-third of Oshkosh middle and high school students could end up with a failing grade for the first semester. Progress reports from teachers show 40-percent of high schoolers and 36-percent of middle schoolers were in danger of not passing at least one class in December. Curriculum Director Julie Conrad is confident those numbers will have dropped by the end of the semester. By comparison, the 15-week progress report in previous years had failure rates in the teens.
