This week in 1997, WAPL added the first single off of Aerosmith’s Nine Lives – “Falling in Love (Is Hard on the Knees)”.

“I Drink Alone” from George Thorogood got airtime on The Rockin’ Apple with the release of Maverick in 1985.

LOST CLASSIC:  After leaving The J. Geils Band, Peter Wolf had a solid solo career.  This week in 1987, WAPL added “Come As You Are”, one of his two Top 20 hits.
