A Green Bay man is accused of taking on fake identities to blackmail a teenage girl into sex. Roberto Varela is charged in Brown County Court with Child Exploitation and Possession of Child Pornography. According to the criminal complaint, Varela pretended to be two men named “Tommy” and “Jamal” on-line who initially offered to get the then-16-year old alleged victim a job in exchange for nude photos and having sex with Varela. Varela allegedly posted the photos and videos of the girl having sex with him on the internet–and threatened to release them to her parents if she failed to comply.
