Here’s some of the songs that were new to Northeast Wisconsin this week in WAPL history…
It’s a bit of a coincidence that the week the WAPL International Incident is in Cabo is also the anniversary of the debut of Sammy Hagar’s “Mas Tequila” on The Rockin’ Apple this week in 1999.
With the release of the War album a few weeks earlier, WAPL started playing it this week in 1983 including the hit “New Year’s Day”.
LOST CLASSIC: Don’t laugh but WAPL added the album Beauty & the Beat from The Go-Go’s this week in 1982 and played the hits “We Got the Beat” and “Our Lips Are Sealed”.
