Student software engineers, mobile app developers and media artists from Fox Valley Technical College are developing an app to help children negatively impacted by drugs.
Scenes of families dealing with drug use in a home are being shot in the school’s Public Safety Training facility. The commercial will be seen across the country. Director of Learning Innovations, Jay Stulo says the app is aimed at three groups. The first is victims.
He says teachers, neighbors and professionals like social workers are included in the other groups. Stulo hopes the app is ready by September of 2022.
Hayley Tenpas will have a full interview with Jay Stulo this afternoon on Focus Fox Valley.
