Officials in southeast Wisconsin say a woman got kicked out of a Mount Pleasant bar and then drove her car into a crowd, seriously injuring one person.
The crash happened about 2 a.m. Sunday. Police say the 33-year-old Racine woman was involved in a fight with a group inside a bar. Witnesses say the pedestrian was hit and became trapped under the car.
Mount Pleasant police say the driver tried to run but was quickly arrested by officers.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and then later flown to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee with possible life-threatening injuries.
