A custodian at Wrightstown High School is in the running for a national honor.
Bobbi Sue Burbey is one of ten finalists for Custodian of the Year.
In her nomination profile, Burbey is noted for having saved the life of a student suffering a medical issue at school, opening her home to kids in unfortunate living situations, and serving as a counselor and surrogate mother for students.
The winner of the contest receives 10-thousand dollars cash, five thousand dollars in products from Cintas and Rubbermaid, along with $20,000 in training.
