Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul formally launches his investigation into sexual abuse in the Catholic Church. The state will be asking all five diocese to turn over their records pertaining to complaints of abuse by priests–and how those complaints were handled internally. Brown County District Attorney David LaSee says the goal is not putting people in prison. The church has self-reported as many as 160-priests that had credible accusations made against them. The state Department of Justice has also established a toll-free hotline for victims to file their claims anonymously.
