Trial set in North Dakota crash that killed a Chilton woman

An August trial date is set for an over-the-road trucker accused of killing a Chilton woman in a distracted driving crash. Timothy McLaughlin is charged in North Dakota with Manslaughter and Aggravated Reckless Driving. Prosecutors allege McLaughlin was watching porn on his cell phone when his big rig rearended a car containing Marikay Mathes along Interstate 94 in July of last year. Mathes’ car had slowed for another crash on the highway.
