Fans of the Canadian cult favorite Letterkenny can look forward to a spinoff featuring the show’s most “elusive” character. It was announced that the show’s creators are working on a new series centering around Shoresy, one of the hockey players appearing (mainly through voice) recurrently throughout the original series and also played by Jared Keeso (who plays “Wayne” and is one of the creators of Letterkenny).
According to Bell Media (who holds the rights to Letterkenny), Shoresy “joins a senior triple hockey AAA team in Northern Ontario on a quest to never lose again”. There has been no release date set for the show.
As part of the announcement, it was confirmed that Letterkenny is currently working on their 10th and 11th seasons.
