Crews with the Fond du Lac Police and Fire Departments, the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department, and the Department of Natural Resources have completed their search of the Fond du Lac River.
They were called to an area south of Johnson Street after receiving a call Tuesday of a human hand in the water. Sonar images from a remote operated vehicle identified several items of interest, all of which were examined further and visually confirmed to be debris.
No human body or body parts were located, and the Fond du Lac Police Department is closing their investigation.
