Thursday night, Conan O’Brien ends his improbable, innovative and hilarious run on late night TV. However he chooses to wrap the show up, I’m sure it will be great. BUT I think he ALREADY DID the PERFECT ending for the show back on March 5 of 1998. I remember the date because it was the night before I attended a taping of his show at Rockefeller Center in New York. I thought the bit was SOOOOOO GREAT I assumed everybody at the taping would be talking about it. But I guess other people visiting New York have better things to do than sit in their hotel rooms watching the TV shows they’re about to attend the next night. Give it a look and see if you agree that he did the PERFECT ending for his show 23 years too soon. -Rick-
