The state has a plan to bring much needed settlement money to communities to address the Opioid epidemic.
Governor Evers signed a bill into law yesterday related to the settlement. Outagamie County Executive Tom Nelson explains Wisconsin will get about $400 million from the $26 billion dollar settlement. He says Outagamie County should get about $10 or $12 million.
Nelson calls this a game changer. He thinks a committee of stakeholders will be formed to address how the money will be spent.
