The third and final Woodstock took place in 1999 on the 30th anniversary of the original festival for peace, love, and music. This festival to this day has a dark cloud over it due to some riots and fires breaking out. The music was more aggressive and the festival was more corporate. This new doc goes behind the scenes, features interviews with The Offspring, Moby, and more, plus archival footage with Metallica, Limp Bizkit, among others. The doc entitled Woodstock ’99 Peace, Love and Rage will be out on July 23rd on HBO and HBO Max.
