Fox Crossing police are investigating the stabbing death of a 30-year-old woman.
Officer Dan Wiechman says officers were called to the 1100 block of Valley Road, on the east side, around 6:45 p.m. for a 911 hang up call. He says on the way there, officers were told the caller said someone came into his apartment and stabbed and killed his live-in girlfriend.
Wiechman says officers unsuccessfully tried to revive the woman.
The 26-year-old man was taken to a hospital for injuries he sustained in the incident.
Police are asking anyone with information to call them.
