To quote the late, comedy great, John Candy from ‘National Lampoon’s: Vacation,’ “Sorry Folks, Park’s Closed. Moose Out Front Should’ve Told You.”
And this isn’t an animatronic mascot moose at ‘Wally-World’ either this is the real deal – a BULL MOOSE – in fact – from Clear Creek, Colorado.
Video below of a bull moose rushing a bystander in Colorado should serve as a cautionary tale as to how social-distancing works when you’re in the wild.
They might be big and majestic creatures having a chill moment but that doesn’t mean they can’t or won’t turn on a dime and remind you you’re in their house. And you best mind your manners.
This particular close encounter happened in Clear Creek County – 20 miles west of downtown Denver.
According to Colorado Parks & Wildlife, “This video is an example of being too close to a bull moose and how quickly they can decide to charge on you.”
In other words, Wally World this ain’t.
Thankfully no injuries occurred. This person managed to get behind a tree and the moose hit that.
