A handcuffed man led police on a intense chase while driving an ATV through the highways, byways and back roads of Logan County, Oklahoma.
He escaped custody after being handcuffed and ran into the woods. He then came upon an ATV and stole it – owners gave chase on another ATV but lost him.
His flight from justice was picked up by a helicopter and the case veered off from highway pursuit (reaching 70 mph) and on to dirt roads
The chase eventually came to an end when a sheriff blocked the roadway with a truck forcing the escapee to veer into a watery, muddy ditch that ended up being the felon’s finish line.
Like they say in NASCAR, drive it like you stole it.
