A shooting suspect sought refuge in possibly the worst place possible… besides the police station… but that would come later.
A Chicago man that was involved in a shooting ran into a restaurant after the incident only to find a bunch of Chicago police officers enjoying lunch.
Yeah, Oops!
According to police, a man driving a stolen Porsche SUV shot a man in another vehicle. He then proceeded to crash the Porsche near Garcia’s Restaurant and took off on foot. He ran inside the restaurant (holding a purse?) only to find several of Chicago’s finest having lunch.
He immediately ran back outside with those same officers in hot pursuit and was caught in a nearby alley.
The man (later identified as Alexandru Mihai, 19) has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a stolen vehicle.
