The best catch at Saturday’s Miami Hurricanes’ game didn’t come on the field, it came in the stands.
A cat made it’s way into Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium and found itself precariously dangling from the upper deck. It would’ve been quite a fall for the feline resulting at a minimum severe injuries or using up all nine lives at once.
But thanks to the quick-thinking of a season ticket holder and his flag – it was the best catch of the game.
The cat eventually succumbed to gravity and fell toward the next level where thankfully for the cat a group of fans had an American flag stretched out to catch the falling feline.
They did – and afterwards one person held the cat up like Simba in ‘The Lion King’ for the crowd to exalt to.
From certain death to the circle of life.
