Additional security will roam the halls of Fond du Lac High School for the rest of the school year. The School Board approves the hiring of up to four guards–who will likely be retired police officers or prison staff–after a brawl involving more than a dozen students at the school last week. Principal Jeff Fleig says he could not believe what he saw. Fleig adds that the security guards will be district employees and will not be armed. They will only refer students to administration for discipline and will not restrain students unless they are breaking up a violent incident.
