Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers have been fined by The NFL for breaking the NFL’s covid protocols. The Packers have been fined $300,000, while Rodgers and wide receiver Allen Lazard will have to pay $14,650 each. Rodgers and Lazard, who also isn’t vaccinated, were fined for going to a Halloween party, although the league’s COVID protocols forbid unvaccinated players from going to outside gatherings with more than three players.
The fines come about a week after Rodgers tested positive for COVID and then lied about his vaccine status. He’s since been widely criticized by health officials and other athletes.
