A TV news reporter in West Virginia was hit by a vehicle live on the air while reporting from the scene of a water main break. Tori Yorgey of WSAZ in Huntington, WV hadn’t even started speaking when a vehicle was seen turning into her and knocking her down as she waited to begin her report.
Yorgey said she was OK after the accident and was able to get up on her own. She said it wasn’t the first time she was hit by a vehicle as it had also happened to her while she was in college. Coincidentally, it is Yorgey’s last week at the station as she will be moving to a station in Pittsburgh.
