A longtime Fox Valley lawmaker is calling it a career in the State Assembly.
Representative Gordon Hintz of Oshkosh announces he will not seek re-election this year.
The Democratic lawmaker was first elected to the State Assembly in 2006. Hintz previously served as chair of the Winnebago County Democratic Party and served on the staffs of Congressman Jay Johnson and U.S. Senator Herb Kohl.
Hintz has also been critical of the partisan election review completed by Special Counsel Mike Gableman.
Hintz co-sponsored a resolution to withdraw authorization of the election review efforts.
