Alcohol was a factor and a genuine concern for a Florida man who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
A Florida man was walking out of a convenience store with some brewskis when a car decided to turn the walk-in into a drive-thru and plowed through the front doors.
Surveillance footage inside the store shows the horrifying moment of impact. Police noted, as the man was being transported to the hospital, in the ambulance he was much less concerned about his injuries and much more concerned about the condition of his beer.
Unfortunately the 12-pack was D.O.A. But the guy was treated for cuts and bruises and released.
The driver – a 21-year-old woman – meant to hit the brake but accidentally pressed the accelerator – is facing charges.
