A H.S. baseball game from North Dakota is getting some national attention – not for anything game related – but for what delayed the game several times… prairie dogs.
Video of the rural rodents taking the field and taking over the game in a spring baseball game between the Grafton Spoilers and Rugby Panthers has been going viral.
One prairie dog appears to stand defiantly on its hind legs refusing get shooed off the field. A little while later a play at third was called dead because two prairie dogs were staying loose, chasing each other in foul territory.
Eventually Rugby won the game 4-1, but, let’s be honest, the prairie dogs won the day.
