So the with the overall ‘weirdness’ that was teaching through the pandemic – you’d have thought teachers could process pretty much anything now that kids are back in the classroom. Well… ‘in-person learning’ does have it’s drawbacks… cleaning up after sick kids… the daily petri dish that are schools… the various smells… turtles in backpacks.
Wait! Turtles? Yes. Turtles.
Tik Tok video of two teachers trying to find the source of a mysterious ‘scratching’ sound in their classroom yielded something neither though possible – a live turtle.
The teachers were working while their students were in another class (gym) and kept hearing a mysterious ‘scratching’ sound. They traced the sound to the backpacks in the back of the room. Apparently some student just tucked a turtle in their backpack and came to school with it.
After their initial shock subsided, they procured the amphibian from the backpack and rescued it.
Gold Stars and A+ Grades for the teachers.
