Sure, starting your first professional baseball game can get the nerves going and make the stomach a little twisty, but this wasn’t nerves. Washington National’s Rookie infielder Lucius Fox made his first Major League Baseball start and only two pitches in, he found himself getting sick behind the pitcher’s mound. Turns out he had a stomach bug, but for this to happen on his first start? that blows. He was feeling sick before the game but had said after some fluids he felt good enough to play. He was not in fact feeling OK enough to play.
