First Communions are a very important rite of passage in the Roman Catholic church. It is the first time that a person receives the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, which is the eating of consecrated bread/host and drinking of consecrated wine. Drinking technically means sipping but some people know how to celebrate harder than others.
A seven-year-old from South Dakota named Brynley Heidebrink has officially gone viral on TikTok for her First Communion celebratory toast. The video shows Brynley chugging the entire chalice of wine at her first communion. Brynley’s mother says no one, not even the priest, tried to stop her.
She said after Brynley slammed the cup of wine she was a little tipsy but mom said she slept well that night.
