Who deserves to be scammed more than anyone/thing else… a Scam Call Center.
These are the people that prey on old and/or gullible people to get them to send money to them for completely made-up reasons. These people are the scum or the Earth and finally some have gotten their comeuppance thanks to You Tuber Mark Rober.
He’s done videos on Rube-Golbergian squirrel obstacle courses and other videos dedicated to ‘glitter-bombing’ porch pirates – all very satisfying to watch. But his latest video may be the most satisfying of all as Rober and his team go after phone scam call centers.
Working with an ex-phone scammer as their inside man at the call center, they pulled some mean-but-harmless pranks that include; fart spray, Viagra with the boss’ name on it, prank soap in the bathrooms that dyed people’s hands blue, a ‘micro-fogger’ to fill offices with smoke and (everyone’s favorite office prank) live cockroaches.
Rober and his team worked with an ex-scammer and got him hired by a call center in India so he could plant the prank devices in their offices.
All-in-all the plan took 18 months to plan and went VERY well – as all of the pranks happened back-to-back on the same day. And best of all they even got one of the scam call centers shut down. BOOM!
Mark’s team even hacked into the company’s security cameras, so they could get it all on video.
