Play with fire you get burned… Tease a lion and lose a finger.
An employee at a zoo in Haiti was taunting/teasing a lion through it’s cage – it looks as if he was playing it up for some visitors who were shooting video of the big cat at the time. Well he paid dearly for the added ‘entertainment value‘ when the big cat (who was SO Obviously agitated) clamped down on one of his fingers through the chain-link fence and would not let go. Y’know like how you play with your dog and it won’t let go of a toy – same thing here.
The casualness of the people shooting video of the event at play here is striking also – absolutely no attempt to help the guy – not that he deserved it – but they just keep recording as if it’s just part of a show.
The lion got a bonus mid-day snack with a side of revenge and the man (probably) learned a hard lesson.
