There’s a fine line between “entertainment,” “sport,” and “animal abuse” when it comes to bull fights/runs and similar contests. Cultural traditions and geographical locations usually define those terms. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that some may define the following footage along those lines as either “Tragic” or “Karmic.”
Drone footage of a bull ring in El Espinal, Colombia hosting what looks like a run-with-the-bulls type event when suddenly the (flimsy/poorly-constructed) stands surrounding a large part of the ring collapse under the combined weight of the spectators.
There were an estimated 800 people in the section of the stands that collapsed. In-ring contestants waved flags and tried to attract the attention of the bull away from the fallen spectators.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene to try to rescue people trapped beneath the wreckage.
At least four people were killed (so far) with hundreds more injured.
