MADISON, Wis. — Another Democratic candidate for one of Wisconsin’s U.S. Senate seats drops out of the race.
State treasurer Sarah Godlewski suspends her campaign and endorses Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes.
While she’s no longer running for the Senate, Godlewski says she’ll continue to fight for female health care rights.
Outagamie County Executive Tom Nelson and Milwaukee Bucks executive Alex Lasry also ended their campaigns this week and are endorsing Barnes.
The winner of the Aug. 9 primary will face Republican incumbent Ron Johnson in the November election.
