Bang for Your Buck Night at the ballpark just added a little TOO MUCH BANG!
The Rocket City Trash Pandas (love that name) fan-friendly, fireworks display went off the rails last Friday night, going from bombs bursting in air to raining fire on the crowd.
According to Pryo Shows of Alabama, a certain product was “incorrectly inserted and secured into its holder,” (been there) causing the fireworks to go from a towering home run to a frozen rope, line drive into the crowd.
The fireworks vendor adamantly stated that nothing like this has ever happened in 30 years of their experience. Unfortunately there’s always a first time for everything (like your fans experiencing friendly-fire) but fortunately no one was injured due to the mishap.
If it’s any consolation the Trash Pandas went on to win the game 4-1.
