OSHKOSH, Wis–The Jackson and Oregon Street Bridge in Oshkosh will reopen to traffic this (Wednesday) afternoon. Crews have been replacing worn gears and other components in the lift bridge this week.
Tests of the lift system today went well. The drawbridge was closed since late May after a routine inspection found worn gears in the lift mechanism.
