MANITOWOC, Wis–The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for a national check fraud suspect. Kimberly Maine is accused of trying to cash bad checks for $3,640 at the Bank First National branch in Whitelaw using the name Kelly Sutherland on Monday.

Maine allegedly was successful at cashing a check for twenty dollars more than that at a Bank First National branch in Plymouth about an hour earlier. She is a suspect in other fake check scams across Wisconsin this month, and is wanted in several other states.
Maine is known to drive a Buick Enclave with several stolen license plates that she appears to rotate to avoid tracking.
